Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving here Sunday evening on a two-day visit to Odisha on his third leg of electioneering in Odisha to hold a road show in the pilgrim town of Puri and address two public meetings in support of party candidates for both Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Modi will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 6:00 PM on Sunday, from where he will proceed straight to the party office, where the Prime Minister will interact with the party leaders on the possible strategy to be adopted in the election in the state.
The Prime Minister will stay at the party office till 8:15 PM and proceed to Raj Bhawan, where he will spend the night.
Modi will fly to Puri on an Air Force helicopter on Monday morning to have darshan of the presiding deities of Sri Jagannath Temple and other deities inside the temple complex.
After offering prayer, Modi will hold a massive road show from the Lion's Gate of Sri Jagannath Temple to Hospital Square, about a 2-kilometre stretch on the Grand Road.
The Prime Minister will then proceed to Cuttack to address Vijay Sanklap Samvesh at the famous BaliYatra ground in Cuttack in support of party candidates.
Modi will also address another election meeting in Angul after the Cuttack meeting before winding up his third leg of electioneering in Odisha.
Six Lok Sabhas, including Puri and Cuttack, and 42 Assembly constituencies in Odisha will go to the polls on May 25.
