PM Modi to flag off new Jodhpur-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express on Friday

JAIPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the inaugural run of the second Vande Bharat Express train of Rajasthan, connecting Jodhpur-Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) on Friday.

Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra and chief minister Ashok Gehlot will also join the ceremony through virtual medium. Union minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Member of Parliament Rajendra Gehlot will be present at the inaugural function in Jodhpur, said officials from northwestern railway (NWR).
