Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 23rd instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Niddhi for more than 9.44 crore PM Kisan beneficiaries in Tarakeshwar, Hoogly, West Bengal, today (Saturday, June 20, 2026). After the release, each PM Kisan beneficiary will receive an instalment of Rs 2,000. This is one of the three instalments that PM Kisan beneficiaries get each year.
How to check your name in PM Kisan beneficiary list
The PM Kisan website allows you to verify if your name is included in the official beneficiary list of the PM Kisan scheme. Here is how you can find your name in the PM Kisan beneficiary list step by step.
Step 1: Visit the official PM Kisan portal: Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2: Access ‘Farmers Corner’: Find the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage
Step 3: Select ‘Beneficiary List’: Click on the ‘Beneficiary List
Step 4: Select State, District, Block and Village and click on Get Report
It will display all the names of PM Kisan scheme beneficiaries.

The government has identified certain suspected cases that may be excluded from the PM Kisan scheme beneficiary list. These include:
Farmers who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019.
Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, adult member, minor, etc.).
The benefits for such cases have been temporarily withheld till physical verification is completed.
How to check PM Kisan beneficiary status
Farmers can visit the dedicated portal pmkisan.gov.in to know more about the scheme. Under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section, those receiving benefits from the PM Kisan scheme can easily check their status using the ‘Know Your Status’ feature.
How to do eKYC for PM Kisan
eKYC is mandatory for PM Kisan-registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PM Kisan portal. The nearest Common Service Centre may also be contacted for biometric-based eKYC.
Modes of eKYC for PM Kisan scheme
Three modes of eKYC available to PM Kisan beneficiaries are-
(i) OTP-based e-KYC
ii) Biometric-based e-KYC (available at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Seva Kendra (SSKs)
(iii) Face authentication-based e-KYC (available on the PM Kisan mobile app, which is used by millions of farmers across India).
