A woman has divided opinion after documenting her experience of flying with Ryanair as a plus-size passenger in a viral video. Kirsty Leanne shared the video with her TikTok followers, and soon found that people had differing opinions on her situation.
The 29-year-old, from Shropshire, was given a middle seat on the budget airline flight, and had to ask for a seatbelt extender due to her size. She said she struggled to fit in the plane's narrow aisle.
Kirsty was travelling from London Stansted to Hamburg last Thursday (April 21) for a conference and returned five days later. She said she could "feel the stares of people" as she approached her seat, but was lucky enough to have a spare seat next to her on the one-and-a-half-hour flight, which made her more comfortable.
