Dramatic video footage shows the moment a police officer tackled a park-goer before CS spraying him - mistakenly suspecting he had been involved in the theft of a moped.
The pillion passenger on the moped, Montell Collins, 27, said he panicked when someone tried to grab the moped as it was being ridden through Moss Side and he ran off into Alexandra Park where he was cornered by an officer.
The cop warned Montell he would 'get dogged' if he didn't get on his knees and when he refused the officer tackled the suspect to the ground and then CS sprayed him.
