'Please help bring Thomas home' plead family of missing Dublin man

The family of a missing Dublin man are urgently appealing for help to locate their beloved brother and "bring him home."

49-year-old Thomas Flood is missing from his home in Dublin 1 since Sunday, 16 April. His family have said that it is very unusual for him not to have returned home.

Speaking to Dublin Live, Thomas's siblings Sarah, Christopher, and Terrence made an emotional plea for help. Christopher said: "He's now missing three days since Sunday 16 April and I'm asking everybody for the support to track his movements.

"We haven't actually seen him physically leave on Sunday morning, we don't physically know what movements he took from Portland Place in Dublin 1. So we're looking around the vicinity of Dorset Street, North Circular Road to actually find his movements from that morning."

Christopher and his siblings are urging people to check their dashcams. Christopher said: "We know from the last time he spoke to us around 1pm on Sunday that he was in town and he was going to do some shopping and get a bite to eat.

"He hasn't returned home. I'm just asking anybody to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600. I want to thank everybody for the support so far, friends, family, and everybody around to help find Thomas to bring him home."

Thomas's sister Sarah added: "Bring Thomas home please, help us."

Thomas is approximately 5 foot 2 inches in height and of a medium build. He is bald and has blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a grey bubble style jacket, a collar t-shirt, and dark bottoms, with brown shoes.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí and Thomas’ family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with any information on Thomas’ whereabouts are asked to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 01 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station."
