A woman shops at a Prairie View, Texas, HomeGoods and Marshalls and overhears a man admit to two-timing his fiancée. She makes a viral PSA and viewers scour the internet for the right Keia to warn her about her cheating fiancé.
In a video with over 2.4 million views, TikToker Shae (@10kwithshae) shares the description of the man, whose name “starts with a D.” She overheard other details about his relationship with his fiancée, “Keia,” including that the couple got engaged on Valentine’s Day.
“You are currently back in your hometown. Your dad is a pastor,” she says, trying to identify the right Keia.
Then, she reveals the heartbreaking secret she overheard.
“You think your man stayed behind cause he’s trying to get a promotion,” she says. “He lied. He’s actually taking another young woman around. He just told his homeboy he just got done taking her [shopping] across the street and got her everything she wanted.”
The TikToker notes that Keia and the other woman don’t know about each other. She encourages her not to be mad at the woman.
Did she find Keia and the cheating fiancé?
Viewers of the viral warning flooded the comments with alternate spellings of “Keia” to get the video on the fiancée’s TikTok for-you-page. As the video continued to receive thousands of views, commenters asked the TikToker for an update.
In a follow-up video later the same day, Shae shares that the other woman reached out to her after seeing the video.
She was able to confirm the cheating fiancé’s identity by sending her a photo and more details about him. The woman claims that the man told her that he and Keia broke up after her dad rejected his request to propose to her.
Shae notes that the woman requested to keep her personal information private.
The TikToker also shares why she decided to find Keia after overhearing her fiancé.
“As someone that’s been through this, I really weighed out would I rather be scrolling and find a video that could potentially blow my life up, or never know and marry a monster,” she says. “For me that was the deciding factor.”
The next day, Shae shares that she spoke with Keia’s older sister the same night the original video went viral.
“She’s seen the video,” she says in the second follow-up video. “She already kinda had some doubts.”
She hasn’t spoken to Keia yet. However, Shae says she let her know she was happy to talk when she was ready if she had questions about what she heard.

“Kia, one day you’ll see this heartache was the first chapter in the story of how you found your happily ever after. I’m so grateful you were spared marrying the villain first,” one says.
Another writes, “KIA if you see this sell that ring girl ! don’t give it back unless it’s a family heirloom. put that money into your student account for school and go get you something cute to wear.”
“I love women who protect other women. She has to be so hurt :( I’m glad she has a support system,” a third adds.
The Mary Sue reached out to Shae via TikTok direct message and comment. We will update the story when she replies.
