Sony’s first State of Play of 2026 aired on Feb. 12, running for more than an hour and focusing on upcoming PlayStation 5 games from third-party and indie developers, alongside updates from PlayStation Studios.
This was PlayStation’s longest State of Play to date, and as always, there were many rumors floating about the showcase, like Devil May Cry 6, The Witcher 3 DLC, Red Dead Redemption 2 next-gen patch, and much more.

As it’s usually the case with PlayStation’s State of Play presentations, reality ended up being much more mundane. Most of the screen time was taken up by updates for already announced titles like 007: First Light, Saros, Marathon, and Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. But we got some exciting new announcements as well: Kena’s sequel, new Castlevania, an untitled John Wick project, and something that no one saw coming – a full remake of the God of War’s Greek trilogy.
