The Chicago Bulls lost their second-straight game on Thursday night, falling to the Brooklyn Nets, 116-105.
Despite rolling out a new-look team with the departures of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets came to play, led by Spencer Dinwiddie’s 25 points in his debut of his second-stint in Brooklyn.
The Bulls held a five-point lead heading into the fourth quarter before Brooklyn outscored Chicago 37-21 in the final 12 minutes to get the win.
Zach LaVine led the way with a 38-point performance on an efficient 16-of-25 shooting from the field.
Nikola Vucevic added 15 points and 17 rebounds in the loss.

DeMar DeRozan: B-
DeMar DeRozan returned to the lineup on Thursday after missing one game due to a right hip strain, finishing with 14 points, three rebounds, and six assists on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor.
Zach LaVine: A
Zach LaVine scored the ball with ease on Thursday, leading the game with 38 points on 16-of-25 from the field. With DeRozan struggling in his return to the lineup, it was LaVine who held the Bulls’ offense together in the loss.
Nikola Vucevic: B
Nikola Vucevic finished with 15 points and a game-high 17 rebounds on 7-of-15 shooting from the field in Thursday’s loss. Vooch struggled from deep, shooting just 1-of-6 from downtown.
Alex Caruso: B
In 30 minutes off the bench on Thursday, Alex Caruso finished with six points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal on 1-of-3 shooting and a perfect 4-of-4 from the line.
Coby White: B
Coby white finished with 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists on 4-of-11 shooting on Thursday as the guard survived the trade deadline after being heavily involved in rumors leading up to the deadline.
