A Leith office building could become a tattoo studio, if plans are approved.
Edinburgh Council has received the application to transform the building at 1F1 89 Giles Street, which is yet to be approved. The change of use application was made by SHS Burridge Architects.
They've said the 67 square metre space would not be altered, and all relevant parties have been informed.

The changes would see the current office transformed into a studio, keeping the hall space and small kitchen area as well as the toilets. Currently, the space is occupied by Avonpeak Offices, a "family-run business" that's been operating for over 30 years.
On their website, they say: "Our properties are converted warehouses and whisky bonds that retain their period features and charm, whilst providing flexible, open spaces to suit any need.
"We are committed to developing an exciting business community in Leith, offering spaces to seasoned firms and start-up businesses alike."
Details on the tattoo studio have not been released, with the architect firm making the application on behalf of Donato Kiaunyte.
