Plans have been submitted to the City of Edinburgh Council to transform an office space into a four-story hotel with a bar.
Set to be built on Thistle Street, the development would take over a current office on the street.
The hotel brand is yet to be released, although the plans do state that no new floorspace is proposed, but internal and external alterations would be required.

If approved, the new hotel and bar set over four stories would join the Thistle Street businesses such as the Thistle Street Bar, the Edinburgh Swim Studio and various retailers on the street.
The development would sit just a five minute walk away from Edinburgh Waverley, and a two-minute walk from Princes Street, where all the main retailers are located.
