Plans have been submitted for a £14million housing development near East Midlands Designer Outlet. The proposals would create 50 two, three and four bedroom homes in South Normanton.
Housebuilder Honey plans to call the development Amber. If permission is granted, the 4.5-acre site on Lees Lane will feature 14 different types of house.
Honey said they have all been specifically designed to combine 'style, substance and sustainability' for the benefit of buyers. Prices will start from £184,950 for a two-bedroom mid-terrace home.

If given the go-ahead by Bolsover District Council, work at Amber is set to start in spring. The first residents are expected to move into their new homes in December.
Honey said it will also make a £160,000 contribution to initiatives which will benefit the local community. The company was founded by former Avant Homes chief executive officer, Mark Mitchell.
He said: “We have worked very hard to ensure all our homes will provide buyers with an ideal combination of style, substance and sustainability. We know there is strong demand for high quality, high specification new homes in South Normanton so we are pleased to submit our plans for consideration by Bolsover District Council."
Honey has analysed consumer insights and trends to inform its house designs to ensure they meet the needs and wants of today's new home buyers, including the flexible use of all living spaces. Standard features in every Honey home include bifold doors, individually designed kitchens and boutique-style bathrooms with a signature free standing bath and full height tiling. All properties will have an electric vehicle charging point.
The properties will accommodate the Future Homes Standard. This requires all new homes being built from 2025 onwards to produce 75 to 80% less carbon emissions.
