Many Rushcliffe residents could experience little of no increase in council tax rise after Rushcliffe Borough Council announced there could be no increase for those households in bands A-D.
Subject to a full council vote, it would mean there would be no increase for the next 12 months from April for more than 60% of properties in the borough. The authority’s cabinet will discuss the proposals at its meeting on February 14.
It will set out figures which means its council tax charge could remain in the lowest 25% in the country. The council's cabinet will also discuss proposals to discount council tax bills for those in bands A-D.
