Prospective homeowners will soon get the chance to buy a brand new home overlooking the mouth of the River Tweed after plans for new executive houses were approved.
The proposals, submitted by local house builder GMC Developments, will see 30 homes in a mix of apartments and houses built on a former brownfield site on the riverbank in Berwick.
Situated on the south side of the river between Spittal and Tweedmouth in Northumberland, the former industrial site currently consists only of a dilapidated jetty.
