Food firm Greggs wants to build a new Greggs in Port Talbot.
The proposed development would consist of one drive-through outlet on land in Baglan Bay Retail Park. Documents show it would also come with storage, servicing as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas.
There would also be provision for 16 parking spaces to the 168sq metre property, which would be adjacent to KFC and B&M.

Access to the proposed site would be directly off the A4241 roundabout, along the main roadway for the retail park. The firm behind the application argue it would be "conveniently accessible".
The application was originally approved by Neath Port Talbot Council in June 2022, but with conditions that a detailed construction management plan and environmental noise and sustainability plan was first submitted and approved.
Officials said it would ensure that highway and pedestrian safety is met during the construction, as well as reducing any noise disturbance to nearby residents. And with this latest plans now submitted by developers Triple Jersey Limited, work to the site could begin later this year if given the go-ahead.
Councillor Saifur Rahaman said: "There is a lot of potential in this part of Baglan at the moment and from what I can see there are a lot of shops and companies that seem keen to build there." You can read more of our stories from Neath Port Talbot here, or subscribe to our newsletter here.
