PJ Gallagher fumes over 'shocking' flight after sitting in broken chair

Comedian PJ Gallagher is pleading with Aer Lingus for answers after he paid "top dollar" for a flight which left him sitting in a broken chair for hours.

The popular Radio Nova star recently flew with the Irish airline and was left dismayed after his experience. PJ wrote on Twitter yesterday: "Hey @AerLingus any chance you could sort me out?

"I’ve already sent you a DM about having my pre booked seat taken off me and put in a broken one for a 6 hour flight without explanation. Paid top dollar for the flight too."

Radio star PJ also claimed that the Wifi was broken on the Boston to Dublin Aer Lingus flight, and that there was "no available food choices" on the flight. However, PJ was still quick to praise the Aer Lingus flight crew despite his unfortunate travel experience.

He said: "As usual your inflight crew and staff were top notch, but all of this was out of their control." But PJ described his experience on this flight as "shocking" and he said that he'd previously had great experiences with the airline.

The comedian recently confirmed that he is set to become a dad, with his partner Kelly expecting twins-a boy and a girl. A delighted PJ recently shared the news on his Morning Glory show with co-host Jim McCabe.

PJ said: "I came in one morning and I said, ‘Jim, you’re not going to believe it. Me and Kelly we’re having a new version of ourselves, this is a baby on the way. I’m becoming a dad.

"We are delighted, so it’s gas. It’s terrifying but brilliant.” The couple are due to welcome their twins in late August.

A spokeswoman for Aer Lingus told Dublin Live: "We’re sorry to learn of Mr Gallagher’s recent travel experience. Our Customer Care team are in direct communication with him to resolve his query.”
