When a full pizza each is way too much but you can’t agree on toppings, what do you do? Compromise with a fail-safe margherita, still buy two pizzas and box up the leftovers to take home? Well, not anymore.
PizzaExpress has launched its 2022 summer menu today and it includes a line of pizzas that fans have been asking for for years: half and half. Their Duo pizzas have hit the menu for the first time, ideal for customers that want to try something new whilst not missing out on their favourite.
Foodies will be thrilled to hear that all Classic and Romana recipes are available on the Duo Romana base for double the fun and double the flavour, with prices from £16.95.

The summer menu features other additions such as a hot take on the classic Dough Balls with the new Chimichurri Dough Balls that are packed with zingy, herby Chimichurri and served with extra sauce for dipping.
A new Romana Hoisin Duck pizza has also joined the menu, offering fragrant, five-spiced duck served on a Romana base and topped with hoisin sauce, red onion, mozzarella, garlic oil and a cucumber and spring onion finish. Chilli oil is available for those looking to add some extra spice to their summer.
The dessert menu has also undergone a makeover to help customers cool off with a choice from the delicious new Lotus Billionaire’s Sundae complete with salted caramel, chocolate and crunchy Lotus Biscoff or a British classic in the Eton Mess Sundae.
Jane Treasure, Food and Beverage Director at PizzaExpress, said: “Continuing to develop our menus and provide products that our customers want is always at the front of our mind. Our summer menu is packed with new flavours from across the globe such as the Hoisin Duck Romana and the introduction of Duo pizzas will allow diners to enjoy their favourite pizza and try a new favourite at the same time.”
The summer menu is available in every PizzaExpress pizzeria across the UK from 21 June.
