Google has finally unveiled the new Pixel 10. It looks incredibly familiar on the outside, but don’t let looks deceive you. This is one of the most significant under-the-bonnet upgrades the series has ever seen. As well as updated internal hardware, the Pixel 10 boasts a new suite of on-device AI capabilities, all powered by the next-generation Tensor G5 chip.
Among the handful of physical changes this year is a huge camera upgrade for the standard Pixel 10, which for the first time gets a dedicated telephoto zoom lens – a feature previously reserved for the pricier Pro models. The entire Pixel 10 range now features MagSafe-style magnetic charging, finally bringing it in line with the iPhone. Called Pixelsnap, it’s even compatible with MagSafe accessories made for the iPhone, like wallet cases and mounts.
