Brittany Snow has officially signed on to join the cast of the highly anticipated psychological thriller, The Housemaid's Secret.
The John Tucker Must Die star is the latest big name to attach herself to the sequel of the 2025 box office smash hit The Housemaid. She will share the screen with a stellar lineup that includes Sydney Sweeney, Kirsten Dunst, and Love Story breakout Paul Anthony Kelly.
The blonde beauty, 40, shared her casting excitement with her social media followers by posting a video of herself walking into an office, sitting behind a desk, and flashing a smile next to a copy of Freida McFadden’s bestselling source novel.
Capitalising on the hype, the film’s official social media accounts shared the video with the caption: "Welcome home, Marybeth. Brittany Snow joins the cast of The Housemaid's Secret: coming to theaters December 17, 2027."
Snow later re-shared the announcement on her Instagram Stories, admitting she is "so excited" to get to work. Her new co-star Sydney Sweeney quickly chimed into the comment section to say she "couldn't be more excited," while director Paul Feig enthusiastically wrote: "Welcome to the family, Brittany!!!."
The thrilling follow-up will see Sweeney return as Millie Calloway, a housekeeper who takes on a new job at the Garrick household. Millie is strictly forbidden from ever seeing the woman of the house, Wendy Garrick (played by Dunst), but soon discovers a dark reality behind a locked door that threatens to unearth deep secrets.
Kelly is set to portray Wendy’s husband Douglas, while Snow will play Marybeth, the seemingly unassuming receptionist working at his company.Cameras are expected to start rolling on the project later this year.
Filmmaker Paul Feig is back in the director's chair, working from a screenplay penned by returning writer Rebecca Sonnenshine.
The escalating thriller franchise is adapted from the wildly popular, best-selling book series by author Freida McFadden. The project first took the literary world by storm on TikTok's "BookTok" platform before transitioning to the silver screen with The Housemaid.

The Housemaid's Secret is slated to hit cinemas on 17 December 2027.
