The Detroit Pistons’ disappointing season experienced yet another lowlight Friday night in their 112–110 loss against the Rockets at Little Caesars Arena.
The Pistons’ ineptitude was on full display early in the game. After Rockets center Alperen Sengun knocked down a free throw in the first quarter, Pistons guard Killian Hayes grabbed the loose ball and inbounded to Isaiah Stewart.
Apparently, thinking that Hayes was tossing it to him to pass it in, Stewart received the pass and stepped out of bounds.
Following the mind-boggling miscue, Stewart was called for the turnover violation, sending the Pistons’ coaching staff into disbelief.

Not much has gone right for the Detroit this season, as the Pistons set the all-time NBA record for longest single-season losing streak earlier this year and own the league’s worst record at 3–36.
