Piper Perabo has been cast in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video spy series 'Butterfly,' joining the previously announced series lead Daniel Dae Kim and other cast members Reina Hardesty, Park Hae-soo, Kim Tae-hee, and Nayoon Kim. The show, based on the BOOM! Studios graphic novel of the same name, was ordered to series in May 2023 with a six-episode order.
'Butterfly' revolves around David Jung, a former US intelligence operative living in South Korea, whose past decision comes back to haunt him, leading to a pursuit by a deadly young agent named Rebecca. Perabo will play Juno, a brilliant and formidable woman who is now the CEO of an intelligence company. She is described as willing to do whatever it takes to protect her organization, with a complex relationship with her adult son who works for her.
