Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski as the summer transfer window draws closer.
The Reds were interested in the Poland international back in 2016. However, Jurgen Klopp ended up bringing in Gini Wijnaldum from Newcastle United instead.
Despite the failed transfer attempt, Liverpool's links to Zielinski have never really disappeared and, with his contract expiring in 2024, a move could be back on the cards, according to a new report.

The Polish star sealed a switch to Napoli from Udinese in 2016 and has gone on to make 324 appearances, scoring 47 goals, for the newly crowned Serie A champions.
But according to Meczykipl, the Reds are looking at making a move for the 28-year-old. They state: "Liverpool are interested once again in Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski. The Reds are VERY serious and his contract ends in 2024 - with extension talks very difficult at the moment and a summer departure likely."
Liverpool will make additions to their midfield department this summer with Alexis Mac Allister and Mason Mount both high up on their shortlist.
