Starting at around 1:55 p.m. ET, Pinterest users were reporting outages with the popular pinning service. By 2:15 p.m., there were about 3,549 reports on the tracking website Downdetector, but they've since subsided.
Pinterest users were reporting a wide range of issues, including boards not loading properly, data-retrieval errors, and other glitches. Interestingly, Pinterest’s own real-time and historical data system never acknowledged the issues. Here's what went down.
