Partners at Pinsent Masons earned more than £700,000 as a result of rising fee income last year.
The law firm's annual results statement showed a 16% increase in their share of its profits to £739,000 - up from £636,000 the previous year.
The global group, which employs 570 lawyers and support staff in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, reported a 6% rise in revenue to £531.1m.
Pinsent Masons has more than 450 partners and some 3,300 people operating globally from 26 offices. Of its Scottish-based lawyers promoted to partner in May, half were female.
Also during the year, more than 200 staff moved into a new 25,000 sq ft office in Edinburgh’s Capital Square.
Prominent mergers and acquisitions advised upon by the firm's legal teams included house builder Springfield Properties’ £46m acquisition of Mactaggart & Mickel and its £56m acquisition of Tulloch Homes, along with Forth Port’s acquisition of OM Heavy Lift and and Craneware’s $400m deal for Sentry Data Systems.
In the energy sector, Glasgow-based head of oil and gas Rosalie Chadwick led on the $1.5bn takeover of Siccar Point Energy by Ithaca Energy, while corporate team colleagues advised Glengarnock-based steelwork contractor JD Pierce on its sale to Swedish investment group Storskogen.
The firm’s commercial property team acted on three of Scotland’s largest property deals: advising HFD on the development of 177 Bothwell Street in Glasgow, representing Barclays on the development of its 450,000 sq ft campus at Tradeston in Glasgow, and advising Aviva on the new M&G/Prudential offices being developed in Stirling.
