Pink power took over the Stadium of Light on Saturday night with a show unleashing the full force of the American star's talents - which included some remarkable acrobatics.
The Get The Party Started singer was true to the words of her opening track, plunging straight into a high-energy show with a stunning display that saw her emerge from giant lips above the stage at the Stadium of Light. The first of her two big Sunderland shows - part of her Summer Carnival 2023 tour - was packed with hits and stand-out visuals such as giant flamingos, disco balls and fireworks alongside equally stand-out moves.
Those moves included bungee jump rope antics, acrobatics, somersaults and being suspended upside down. The crowd loved it.

Pink, dressed - naturally - in sparkling pink, delivered in style with such hits as Raise Your Glass, Who Knew, Just Like a Pill, What About Us and Just Give Me a Reason followed by some acoustic numbers.
And our reviewer noted that the most touching moment of the night was when she was joined on stage by her 12-year-old daughter Willow to sing Cover Me in Sunshine. That's become a defining moment of her shows and packed an emotional punch.
While music fans with divided loyalties might have been torn by Sam Fender performing across the river at the same time on Saturday night, where he was wrapping up his double date at St James' Park, there's another chance to catch her as Pink still has one local show to go.
She'll be performing at the stadium again this Sunday night and no doubt enjoying another soaring success.
