The chart-topping artist has revealed that she is planning a spectacular personal feat during the shows that has pushed her to new physical heights. She said: "I’ve never asked more of this body of mine- and I have to admit- there are a couple of parts of this show I’m not sure I should be doing (you’ll know what I’m talking about very soon).

"There are only a handful of women that have ever done this - and yes world- I AM ONE OF THEM. Thanks to y’all."

Fans will get to see tonight exactly what she means - although she did also share images of acrobatic equipment inside the Bolton stadium in her Instagram post which may be a clue. She is seen getting her 12-year-old daughter Willow into a safety harness, and shared a photo of her bouncing into the air in the photos.

The full statement saw Pink, one of the world's best-selling music acts of all time, share her excitement at completing her final rehearsal in Bolton. She says she is setting out "to embark on a fantasy feat of a lifetime" with the new world tour.

It will see the Get the Party Started star play 63 stadiums, 3 headlining festivals and 22 arenas across the globe.

She said in the midst of it all she is also keeping on top of all her family duties too. Sharing pictures on stage at the football stadium in Horwich, home of Bolton Wanderers, she was beaming with excitement.

Pink wrote: "As you know, “bigger better faster more” is my motto, and as of today, I am all of that, plus stronger, wiser, more resilient and more ready. And I’ve never been more grateful.

"I’m grateful for so many things- but as I look at this stage and what went in to making this happen- I will tell you that this crew- is the best and hardest working that ever did it. I ask more of them than they’ve ever been asked.

"We are doing the impossible. No one does this.

"So if you see them, wave, smile, and tell them they’re doing an amazing job."

She added that at tonight's performance "we light up". She said: "We get to feel all the feelings we’ve been stuffing down. We get to close our eyes and leave it all behind.

"We get to scream and cry and laugh and embrace the memories we have all made together and then make some more." She added: "It is my honor to be with you and to human alongside you."

"I love all of you friends out there and I cannot wait to share everything we are together. And no better month to do it in then Pride Month, and the month I became a Mama. Let’s leave it all out there!!!!"

Also in the video, Pink shared a sweet present and message that Queen legend Brian May had left for her. It read: "Britain loves you and so do we, Brian May and family x x".

Doors open at the Bolton Stadium at 4pm today for fans - with a packed line-up of support acts before Pink takes to the stage including KidCutUp and The Script. Pink herself is due to take to the stage at around 8.50pm.

Pink has been based in Greater Manchester for at least the past week as she prepares for the tour - and shared on Monday that she is "in love with Manchester". She celebrated daughter Willow's 12th birthday in the city - taking her to the Total Ninja active play centre in Trafford Park, sharing videos of the great time they had there.
