Ah, Pingu — the loveable claymation series about a penguin that wants nothing more than to get in snowball fights and go fishing. An icon to children everywhere, and now he’s an unholy abomination in Elden Ring.
On Wednesday, Ubisoft VFX artist Adrian Mendez shared footage of an original fan-made Unity 3D project that turns Pingu into an Elden Ring boss. The video shows a warehouse-sized version of the adorable antarctic resident bursting out of a volcano as if hell can no longer contain this beast. Before the unsuspecting tarnished can react accordingly, Pingu brings his gargantuan flipper down, squashing our hero before a battle could begin. Nootless tactics, indeed.
Check out the animation for yourself below. It’s pretty short but mighty impressive all the same.
Is this the correct way to use Unity3D?

“This is not a game, just a little project,” Mendez said in the video’s description on YouTube. “Sometimes I’m bored…”
You’ve got to admire the creativity. Pingu likely would decimate even the best bosses without much effort. Let’s be real.
It’s not the first time Elden Ring fans have come up with ridiculous crossover videos, either. There’s an infamous Gameboy demake and Indiana Jones’ adventures in the Lands Between.
