Paddy Pimblett missed the chance to win a maiden UFC title and suffered his first defeat in the promotion after an epic battle with Justin Gaethje at UFC 324.

Liverpool star ‘Paddy The Baddy’ was the favourite to pick up the interim lightweight belt in Saturday night’s eagerly-anticipated headline act at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the opening UFC event of 2026 and first to form part of their new lucrative broadcasting deal with Paramount+.
