Piers Morgan has taken a brutal swipe at Steph McGovern after she allegedly made a dig at the ratings for Piers Uncensored. Morgan tweeted at Steph after he heard she was discussing his low ratings on Have I got News For You.
Morgan posted a screenshot of a Sun article when her show received zero viewers back in 2020. He has since received a backlash on Twitter with people saying his comments are unfair.
The tweet reads: "Hear you were gobbing off about my @PiersUncensored ratings on #HIGFY last night @StephLunch - you sure you’re the best person to do that?"

In September, 2020 the daytime show, called Steph's Packed Lunch, registered zero viewers at 12.56pm on Tuesday in official Barb ratings. Earlier this year, the show received a Bafta nomination for best daytime TV show.
One person replied to Piers saying: "Why are you such a horrible man? The energy you put into being nasty would do so much good if turned the other way. As my Nan always says ‘if you’ve nothing nice to say, say nowt.’"
Steph's Packed Lunch continues weekdays on Channel 4 at 12.30pm.
