Piers Morgan has hit out at the cancel culture across the globe and has sensationally labelled it "as dangerous as Covid".
The former Good Morning Britain presenter, 56, is set to return to the small screen later this month and condemned the world's current cancel culture.
The outspoken journalist explained how he wants his new show to help "un-cancel those who've been cancelled".
Speaking to Metro, he said: "I want to basically make a point that cancel culture is as dangerous to society in its own way, in terms of its attack on free speech, as coronavirus has been."
He continued: "It could be, over the next few years and decades, more dangerous. I think if a democracy like ours, or America or Australia, where this show will be airing, loses what free speech means and stops defending an individual’s right to an opinion, you’re not a democracy."
And he insisted his new show would be used to stand up for democracy.
Piers had previously hinted that his objective for his new show was to "annoy all the right people".
The hour-long show is set to include opinion segments as well as debate and interviews.
Piers also went out to claim his departure from the ITV morning show following his comments about Meghan Markle was a "farce".
He left the show after storming off the set when he said he did not believe Meghan's claims from her Oprah Winfrey interview.
His comments sparked more than 50,000 complaints, the most in Ofcom's history.
Piers continued: "I thought the whole thing was a farce, and I'm delighted that actually as a result of the farce, we've ended up with a whole network which is now dedicated to preventing that kind of farce from recurring.
"You shouldn't be shamed or vilified or cancelled for having an opinion, unless you genuinely are spewing hateful bigoted stuff."
Piers will be joined on TalkTV by the likes of Sharon Osbourne and Tom Newton Dunn.
His new global show Uncensored will first air at 8pm on April 25 and will also air on Fox Nation in the US and Sky News Australia.
Piers has also reignited his feud with Dan Walker ahead of the presenter's move to Channel 5.
Dan, who has hosted BBC Breakfast since 2016, is joining 5 News later this year, replacing Sian Williams.
Asked about their rivalry, Piers said scathingly: "Dan who? Hasn’t he disappeared to Channel 5 or something. He disappeared with his tail between his legs after we beat him in the ratings."
