Piers Morgan has been branded 'obsessive' and 'vile' thanks to his interview with the woman who took Prince Harry 's virginity.
In a teaser for the chat, set to air on Thursday, the broadcaster can be seen asking Sasha Walpole a string of questions about her tryst with the Duke of Sussex - including one that has riled social media users.
Harry never named Sasha as the woman who took his virginity when briefly recalling their encounter in his bestselling memoir earlier this year, but she is now set to give her side of the story in the upcoming Talk TV interview.
The trailer for Sasha's chat with Piers, a long-time vocal critic of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, sees the two sit down to discuss the one-time sexual encounter that took place over 20 years ago.
"Sasha Walpole has come forward as the woman Prince Harry lost his virginity to - and there's certain questions Piers Morgan wants to get off his chest," the caption for the interview's trailer reads on Twitter.
Piers is heard saying: "Would you agree it was inglorious then? Did you know as you were in flagrante in the field that he was a virgin? Do you think he should have had the manners to let you know? What do you think of Meghan Markle?
"Do you think he has traded up from you or down? If Prince Harry is watching this what would you say to him? This is a guy who's sixth in line, or fifth in line to the throne of this country, talking about losing his virginity to you."
Twitter users were horrified by the former Good Morning Britain presenter's choice of questions and the fact he brought Meghan up when discussing an incident she wasn't involved in.
"That's low even for you Piers," one unimpressed viewer told the star on Wednesday night.
"Didn't think you could stoop any lower.. I was wrong," another added, as a third declared: "Here we go again...his obsession...Meghan!"
One Twitter user joked: "Piers Morgan interviewing the person who Harry lost his virginity to is beyond peak Alan Partridge."
Others pointed out how Harry never so much as hinted at Sasha's identity in his memoir Spare, asking: "If Harry invaded her privacy, how has she 'come forward'?"
In his bestselling autobiography, Harry described how as a 17-year-old student at Eton, he lost his virginity to an "older woman" in a field behind a "very busy pub".
The dad-of-two referred to the encounter as "a humiliating episode with an older woman who liked macho horses and who treated me like a young stallion".
Piers had one fan excited about the interview in the replies, with the Twitter user quipping: "#SashaWalpole you go girl! Right call. He put you in his book, you deserve all the $$$ you reap from it."
The interview with air on TalkTV on Thursday at 8pm.
