Piers Morgan has ripped into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once again – after the trailer for the Netflix documentary series was released.
Former Good Morning Britain host Piers, 57, took to Twitter to share his outrage as the Duke, 38, and Duchess, 41, are poised to tell their side of the story in a new bombshell documentary series.
Netflix are reported to have paid $100 million (£88 million) to the royal couple to capture the fly-on-the-wall series.
As the trailer was released by the streaming giant today, many took to Twitter to share their reactions, including outspoken journalist Piers.
He branded Meghan and Harry "repulsive hypocrites" as he replied to a tweet from Netflix to share the trailer.
Piers' scathing tweet read: "Imagine bleating about privacy then doing a kiss-and-tell reality series about your private lives?
"Then imagine preaching compassion as you trash your family again?
"Then imagine releasing 1st trailer deliberately to ruin your brother’s big trip to America? Repulsive hypocrites."
However, some of Piers' viewers didn't agree with his tweet as one defended the couple by writing: "It’s not really that difficult to understand, privacy isn’t about people have zero knowledge of your life & living up in the mountains as a hermit.
"Privacy is YOU having control over what people can know about YOUR life and living your life accordingly."
Another added: "Imagine being as bothered about this couple as you are."
While a third said: "Imagine not mentioning it every time they do something. You give them more publicity but say you dnt care. Just ignore and they would dissappear if noone was interested". [sic]
In an earlier tweet reacting to the trailer, Piers wrote: "OMG. This is already vomit-inducing."
It comes after Netflix released the bombshell teaser, sharing never-before-seen photos of the couple, who are parents to Archie and Lilbet, as well as snaps from their childhoods.
In the clip Harry can be heard saying: "No one sees what's happening behind closed doors," while a shot of Meghan crying while looking at her phone is shown.
The prince of Wales continues: "I had to do everything I could to protect my family."
Meghan can then be heard saying: "When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear our story from us?".
The Duchess of Sussex previously revealed how the documentary series will delve into the couple's love story as she said how viewers can expect "the piece of my life I haven't been able to share, that people haven't been able to see – our love story".
Before the former Suits actress' romance with Prince Harry, Piers Morgan is said to have had an online friendship with Meghan. However, during her marriage to Harry, Piers has launched a series of scathing attacks on Meghan – and even stormed off of Good Morning Britain during a row over her interview with Oprah Winfrey, before quitting.
Piers has previously recalled how he followed Meghan and a few other Suits stars on Twitter before Meghan followed back and sent him a message to say what a fan she was.
The pair are then said, according to Piers, to have met for platonic drinks before they parted ways. Piers previously told The Late Late Show: "We had two hours in the pub, she had a couple of dirty martinis and pints – we got on brilliantly.
"Then I put her in a cab, and it turns out it was the cab that took her to a party where she met Prince Harry."
Piers added: "The next night they had a solo dinner together and that was the last time I ever heard from her."
The TV star then joked that Meghan "ghosted" him.
