Piers Morgan's Cristiano Ronaldo celebration pledge 'when' Arsenal win Premier League

Piers Morgan is planning to drive to Old Trafford and celebrate in Cristiano Ronaldo's signature style if Arsenal win the Premier League this season.

The statement came amid a social media back-and-forth with author Wayne Barton on Twitter in the aftermath of the north London club coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday. Barton was pulling Morgan up for labelling Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag 'embarrassing' after the United boss danced alongside Antony and Lisandro Martinez after the Carabao Cup final win.

After being challenged on the comments Arsenal fan Morgan doubled down, labelling the League Cup a '[third] tier trophy which nobody cares about'. When Barton replied that Arsenal may not even end up winning the Premier League title, the broadcaster bit back once more.
