Piers Morgan gave an uncharacteristic glowing review to a female host on Sunday night.
After blasting Rebel Wilson's stint presenting the BAFTAs earlier this month, the former Good Morning Britain star was full of praise for Amy Schumer's opening jokes at the 94th Academy Awards.
Piers - who called for Hollywood A-Listers to donate their goody bags earlier in the evening - took to Twitter to give his verdict on the Oscars host after one particularly shocking joke.
Speaking on stage at the Dolby Theatre, Amy, 40, poked fun at previous Oscar winner Leonardo Di Caprio's tendency to date younger women.
"Leonardo Dicaprio, what can I even say about him?" the first Oscars host in three years began.
"He's done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends."
Many in the celeb-packed audience gasped at the cheeky joke - including Leo's Don't Look Up co-star Timothee Chalamet.
Watching at home, broadcaster Piers clearly enjoyed the stand-up comedian's brave jibe at the Hollywood icon.
Quote-tweeting a transcript of Amy's joke, the dad-of-four quipped: "[laughing face emojis] Enjoying Ms Schumer’s waspish tongue so far.. #oscars."
Many agreed with the star, with one follower replying: "They could have kept her going for another 10 min, she did good!"
It's not the first time Oscar winner Leo has been the butt of a joke at an awards show.
At the BAFTAs earlier this month, host Rebel approached 20-year-old CODA actress Emilia Jones, quipping: "I’ll give you the award for the person in the crowd Leonardo DiCaprio would find most attractive... He does like them young."
Many of Piers' followers also pointed out that five-time Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais has also taken jabs at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's actor's love of younger women over the years.
Earlier in the evening, the former Good Morning Britain host suggested that those on stage this evening raffle off their $140,000 gift bags to help refugees currently fleeing the crisis in Ukraine.
Nominees and presenters at this year's annual award ceremony will be presented with some incredible freebies - including the controversial addition of a piece of Scottish land.
The plots, which cost £150 per 100sqft, also include permission to use the title “Laird” or “Lady of Glencoe ” and celebrities can visit whenever they choose.
Piers took to Twitter hours before the awards kicked off on Sunday night to muse that rather than "virtuous tearful speeches", Hollywood A-listers should auction off their "revoltingly ostentatious" goody bags in order to help amid the humanitarian crisis.
Tweeting to his 7.9million followers, the broadcaster suggested: "Rather than make virtuous tearful speeches tonight about how much they care about Ukraine, it might be nice if all the Oscars presenters & nominees auction their revoltingly ostentatious $140,000 gift bags to raise funds for Ukrainian refugees."
