Piers Morgan issues concern after the Queen pulls out of speech to parliament

Queen Elizabeth pulled l out of the big State Opening of Parliament today (Tuesday, May 10) and Piers Morgan has reacted with concern of the breaking news.

Buckingham Palace released a statement last night (May 9) which said: "The Queen continues to experience episodic mobility problems, and in consultation with her doctors has reluctantly decided that she will not attend the State Opening of Parliament."

The Buckingham Palace Statement goes on: “At Her Majesty’s request, and with the agreement of the relevant authorities, The Prince of Wales will read The Queen’s speech on Her Majesty’s behalf, with The Duke of Cambridge also in attendance.”

New TalkTV Uncensored host Piers, 57, remarked on Twitter: "This is not good. Getting more & more concerned about the Queen’s health," reports BirminghamLive. Prince Charles and Prince William will now open this session of parliament for the first time.

The Queen issued new Letters Patent to delegate to Counsellors of State the Royal Function of State Opening of Parliament. It is understood she has a very busy diary at Windsor this week with a call from Australia and a virtual phone call with Privy Council and the Prime Minister.
