Piers Morgan has found himself criticised after taking a swipe at Meghan Markle just moments before she and other royals arrived at Westminster Abbey for Her Majesty the Queen's funeral.
The Duchess of Sussex was joined by Sophie, Countess of Wessex as they travelled to the Abbey for Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral - while husband Prince Harry walked behind his grandmother's coffin.
Piers had been leading the coverage for Fox News from outside Buckingham Palace, with the controversial broadcaster seated in a prime position outside of the official royal residence.

However, The Star reports that the dad-of-four couldn't help but take a pop at Meghan - describing the American as a "lost cause". While reflecting on Harry's upcoming memoir, which divulges his explosive life story, Piers suggested that the move could end up being "very damaging" for his father, King Charles III.
He added that he hoped that Harry would "wake up", before going on to take a pop at Meghan. Piers said: "We've all been following this soap opera drama, the bottom line is that it's hard to ignore them.
"When you have this renegade Royal Family, trying to have their royal cake and eat it. But there have been some moments this week where you could have some sympathy with Prince Harry over his treatment as opposed to his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew."
He continued: "I hope something wakes up inside of him, I hope he pops the book. She's [Meghan] probably a lost cause in this because she just wants to be rich and famous."
The statement did not go down well with royalists, who slammed Piers for the insensitive timing of his remarks. Taking to Twitter, one social media user, said: "Piers is like a lover scorned, he just won't let it go & it's becoming a creepy obsession."
A second, added: "Unbelievable on today of all days Piers want to take aim at Meghan. He seems to be suffering from a continued unhealthy obsessive disorder with Meghan," while a third, fumed: "Give it rest and leave them alone you are so boring, so it’s time for you to keep quiet for once in your life nobody cares what you think or say."
A fourth, commented: "Even on the Queen’s funeral he still has to have a go. It’s time to just shut up Piers we're bored with you spouting the same old twaddle."
Many fans of the Duchess also praised her for remaining 'composed and regal' despite the remarks and circumstances.
