Piers Morgan appears sombre as he thanks Queen for 'doing her duty to the end'

Piers Morgan was incredibly sombre as he paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth following the monarch's passing.

The TV presenter remembered the British monarch, who passed away earlier today in her Scottish home, Balmoral, as he appeared on TalkTV with his colleagues to discuss the Queen's death. He thanked the Queen for "doing her duty to the end".

Piers appeared on the channel today, alongside Sharon Osbourne as they both paid tribute to the Queen. Sharon described it as "heartbreaking" as she sent her love to the Royal Family and the country.
