Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan reunited with a hug on Good Morning Britain five years after the latter’s dramatic ITV exit.

In 2021, Mr Morgan walked off the show after he said that he did not believe claims made by the Duchess of Sussex about her mental health during her interview with Oprah.

Back on the Good Morning Britain sofa, the former co-hosts hugged it out. "Nice to see you. Great to have you [back]. Now, we're in a completely different building, I can break my hug omertà,” said Reid.

Ed Balls smiled as he praised the pair for coming together “no matter your differences”. When Morgan teased Reid by asking for one more hug, she replied: “One’s enough.”
