Piers Morgan agrees with Trump and admits he 'overreacted' by walking out of Good Morning Britain

Piers Morgan has agreed with the assertions of Donald Trump that he 'overreacted' when he walked out of Good Morning Britain.

Broadcaster Piers was speaking to former US President Donald about all manner of subjects on his new TalkTV show Uncensored when Donald criticised him for walking out on his job on GMB.

Later in the broadcast, Donald also called Piers 'a fool' and 'very dishonest'.

Explaining the moment when Donald criticised him, Piers told his viewers on Monday night: "Well, Trump even gives his forthright take on my walk out from Good Morning Britain."

He then explained to Trump in a clip of their chat: "I chose the title Uncensored because I lost my last job on the Good Morning Britain show."

Referring to his run in with Alex Bereford on GMB , which proved to be the final straw for Piers, Donald replied saying: "I think you overreacted by the way. The guy was a stiff.

He added: "You made it about him. He probably got a huge pay rise."

Piers stuttered: "Well, I'll tell you what happened. It wasn't about him."

Then he conceded, away from the interview: "He's not wrong."

During the much anticipated chat, Piers and Donald also talked about Vladimir Putin's war on Ukraine and how Trump would have dealt with it differently, as well as the possibility that he may run for President again in the States.
