Pierre Gasly’s girlfriend and family targeted by online trolls after Spanish Grand Prix

  • The abuse followed the Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid , where Gasly held up Colapinto during the race, leading to the Argentine driver finishing seventh and Gasly in 12th.
  • Gasly called on the sport to address online toxicity, stating that boundaries are being repeatedly crossed by people behind keyboards.
  • Colapinto urged fans to stop the attacks, emphasising that he and Gasly maintain a strong working relationship with the shared goal of improving Alpine.
  • The incident is the latest in a series of online abuse cases linked to Colapinto's fanbase, which previously targeted driver Yuki Tsunoda and F1 stewards.
