The transfer window is into it's final two weeks and Chelsea are set to be busy. The club have already landed Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella this summer but still seem very keen to add to their ranks.
Two names are dominating proceedings at the moment in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Wesley Fofana. The Blues have seen two bids rejected for the Leicester star but appear hopeful a £22million offer will be enough for Barcelona to part ways with the Gabon international.
Thomas Tuchel has a great deal of affection for the forward who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund, though it remains to be seen whether the former Gabon international is open to heading to Stamford Bridge given a promising start to life in Barcelona. When asked about Aubameyang, the German coach said: "We had a very close relationship. Always when we played him here with Arsenal, there was always straight away this close bond. They always stay your players in a way, Auba is one of these guys."
