Pierce Brosnan shared his delight after some baby news, hailing it as a "blessing".
The Golden Eye actor, 69, announced the birth of his fourth "dearest" grandchild after revealing his son Sean and daughter-in-law Sanja Banic welcomed their second child.
He posted a snap of the couple's new baby boy Jaxxon and penned a heartfelt message to his "darling" family on his Instagram.
Alongside two pictures of little Jaxxon, proud Pierce wrote: "Jaxxon Elijah Brosnan, born 3:06pm 11/12/22… all good blessings to you my dearest grandson, welcome."
"Congratulations my darling Sean, Sanja and Marley. Peace be with you," he penned next to the sweet snaps shared with his 1.9million followers.
Sean and Sanja are already parents to their daughter Marley, 7, with baby Jaxxon becoming film star Piece's fourth grandchild.
The iconic James Bond actor has two older grandchildren, Isabella, 24, and Lucas, 17, from his late daughter Charlotte.
"Congratulations to your beautiful family. A beautiful Grandmother and Aunt in Heaven, and beautiful Grandmother on this physical plane. Blessings to all," said one follower.
Another said: "Congratulations to you all. He's absolutely gorgeous. I hope mum and baby are doing well. Sending love from the UK. Welcome to the world little one."
As well as Sean, Pierce is also father to Christopher, 49, from his first marriage to Cassandra Harris.
He adopted Cassandra's children, Chris and his sister Charlotte, after their marriage. The couple welcomed Sean in 1983.
Cassandra and Charlotte both tragically died after a battle with ovarian cancer; Cassandra was 43 when she died in 1991 and Charlotte passed away at the age of 41 in 2013.
Pierce married his current wife Keely Shaye Smith in 2001, and together they share two sons: Dylan, 25, and 21-year-old Paris.
Speaking in GQ, Dylan previously spoke of growing up with such a famous father.
He said: "I always thought he had a lot of friends, growing up, because people would come up to him in the street, and he's like the nicest guy, so he talks to everyone for a really long time."
Pierce has always advised his sons against careers in acting, saying: "Just because it's [explicit] hard work, it's a cross to bear. You're constructing and destroying yourself."
