Katie Taylor escaped nasty injuries after her 10-round brawl with Chantelle Cameron at the 3Arena.
The Bray fighter suffered a shock defeat at the hands of her English opponent but did seem to leave relatively unscathed.
The fight went the full 10 rounds with two of the three judges scoring the bout in favour of Cameron.
And despite the hometown reception, the electric 3Arena crowd could not convince judges of a Katie Taylor victory.
The 2012 Olympic Gold medal winner had no major complaints after the bout and, in truth, neither did the crowd despite some jeering.
Cameron appeared to win four of the first five rounds and although Taylor battled back in the second half of the fight it was too little too late.
The pair are likely to meet in a rematch which could take place in Croke Park later this year.
