Pictured: Man, 48, killed in Harrow knife attack as suspect charged with murder

Corey Graham, 48, was attacked on Sussex Road, Harrow - (Metropolitan Police)

A man stabbed to death at a home in north west London has been named as a suspect appeared in court charged with murdering him.

Corey Graham, 48, was attacked at an address on Sussex Road, Harrow around 4.40pm on Wednesday 30 October.

He was taken to hospital but relatives received “the worst possible news” when he died the next day from his wounds.

Javan Lee, 37, of the same road, was treated in hospital for minor injuries before being taken into custody.

He appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday accused of murder and was remanded in custody until January 21, 2025.

Lee was first before Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they had notified the victim’s next of kin. They are being supported by specialist officers.

Detective Inspector Luke Hampton, of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said: “This is a complex scene with multiple people living inside the address.

“At this early stage we believe this to have been an isolated incident and there is no apparent risk to the public.

“A man has lost his life and a family has received the worst possible news. If you have information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”

Superintendent Chris Clarke - who leads Harrow, Barnet and Brent’s local policing - said: “We are supporting our Specialist Crime colleagues as they make their enquiries and local people will notice a more visible police presence in the area to provide reassurance.

“If you feel worried or if you have information please don’t hesitate to approach officers or get in touch with your local Neighbourhood policing team.”
