Police have issued a fresh appeal after two girls were shot outside a party in Moss Side.
The victims - aged 13 and 16 - were both taken to hospital after being injured in the drive-by shooting on Quinney Crescent on July 29. Both suffered injuries believe to have been caused by shrapnel from the firearm.
Police previously said the incident was being treated as attempted murder. Detectives believe the girls - who are now recovering at home - were not the intended target, but were shot at outside a party at a house where a 'family were coming together to celebrate a loved one who passed away'.
