Detectives have issued a picture of a man they would like to speak to following an assault at a bar that left someone with “serious facial injuries”.
Cheshire Police said officers were called to reports at 10.20pm on Saturday, March 11, that a 51-year-old man had been assaulted by a group of "unknown offenders" at a bar on Halton Road, Runcorn. The patient was later taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment for his injuries.
Police have issued a picture of a man they have appealed to come forward. The ECHO understands the establishment where the incident took place was The Northern Bar, which opened in August following a northern soul-themed refurbishment from its previous guise as The Grapes.

“The same goes to anyone who may have information and has not yet spoken to police, to please do so.”
