Pickaxe-wielding man who attacked London hospital staff convicted of attempted murder

A London hospital maintenance worker who chased colleagues with a pickaxe and stabbed two of them has been found guilty of attempted murder.

Matteo Bottarelli, 44, left two men in their 40s with substantial injuries after unleashing a violent rampage at Middlesex Hospital in Fitzrovia on June 21, 2023.
