Oscar Piastri insists he still has reason to believe he can claim a maiden Formula One world title, despite the Australian's grip on the championship loosening after another poor weekend.
Piastri finished Sunday's US Grand Prix in Austin in fifth spot, some 30 seconds off the pace as his main title rivals Max Verstappen and Lando Norris came first and second respectively.
It comes after the McLaren driver failed to finish Saturday's sprint race, following a first-corner collision that also took out teammate Norris.
