‘Physically strong, really attractive law enforcement’: Trump giddy as a schoolgirl after being saved by hunky cops

Donald Trump has a notorious eye for hunks and has repeatedly marveled over particularly chiseled specimens of male beauty. The New York Times noted his longstanding appreciation of hot guys last year, describing sexy dudes as “perfect specimens”, drooling over hot Air Force One pilots, and praising the “very handsome” Prince William.

Even an attempt being made on his life doesn’t calm down his roving eye, as after the failed assassination at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, he made a point of praising the Secret Service agents and law enforcement personnel who rushed him to safety as being “really attractive”:

When asked about his reaction and whether he was worried after hearing the gunshots, Trump was clear:

“I wasn’t worried. I understand life. We live in a crazy world. You can really enhance your chances of having a perfect situation but sometimes things will happen. I did want to see what was happening because I’m y’know, the president.

In one way I guess I should be hiding and another way I want to see if I can be helpful. I did watch, because I could see what was going on, with the door. I also saw a lot of very strong, physically strong, really attractive law enforcement people come through those doors. And frankly, it made me feel very safe.”

It’s reassuring to know that, even when potentially staring death in the face, Trump is still reliably rating the attractiveness of the men rushing to his side.

This is actually one of his better qualities

At this point, you could be forgiven for wondering whether Trump is gay or bi. Well, who really knows for sure? Either way, for a man bristling with many intensely negative qualities, his being unashamed about acknowledging the presence of world-class hunks is actually one of his better features.

Trump is clearly not afraid of appearing effeminate and obviously doesn’t have any hang-ups about his masculinity or making a concerted effort to appear heterosexual. Weirdly, this makes him far less likely to be gay than men like the rabidly anti-feminine Pete Hegseth, who project straight masculinity so firmly it’s easy to conclude that it’s performative and they’re compensating for something.

All that said, if Trump were gay, he’d be really great at it. He’s at his most entertaining when he’s being bitchy, he has strong opinions about Broadway musicals, and an obsession with interior design. If only he weren’t President of the United States and instead had a weekly gossip column in New York Magazine!
