Some believe former Ohio State and current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields is primed for a breakout, potentially MVP-type season for 2023-2024. He showed an ability to be an electric playmaker on the ground midway through last season, and that figures to be a threat against defenses this year.
Add that ability on the ground to now having much better weapons around him, most notably receiver D.J. Moore, and a year of seasoning, and many believe Fields’ passing ability will take a major step forward as well.
So far, so good, for Fields as he broke the seal on the NFL preseason against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday. The former Heisman finalist was only in the game for two series, but he made the most of it by completing all three passes he threw that included two long touchdowns. You can watch those here if you are so inclined.
Though his time in the game was brief, we were still able to get a few photos of the former Buckeye doing damage in the game, and we’re here to share those with you. Here are some of the best photos of Fields in his first NFL preseason game of 2023.
